さよならパーティーだったね☆

me and my friends had a little sayonara party for me. (still got 3 weeks left, but i leave right when they have big tests/exams going on and have to study for)

we did kareoke for 3hrs and then purikura and then went over to yuuko's house ate dinner chatted and watched disney's aladdin (in japanese XD) on home video. it was fun.

while i was looking at older posts to help job my memoriy and to help me write something for the speech I have to do, i noticed at the beginining of the exchange i posted alot. like at least once a week. and then it was like as soon as january hit my posts dwinkled to once or twice a month. I honestly don't know what to write, considering this is one of my times i don't know exactly what I wanted to type here. So it will be short:

I switched host families twice. I was technically in one house for only 2 weeks but it didn't fly well and they got me moved to my last host family a month early.

walking through the Sakura trees was so wonderful. I don't know why but I found it so surreal. Plus Maxine was with me and I was happy eating crepes and talking with her. Her host family was really nice too. It was a good 2 days.

you know Valentine's Day can also be known as "Single Awareness Day" aka SAD.

Valentine's Day is sorta a big thing in japan.... or many just for high school girls...

Ladies and Gentlemen of the class of '97,

Wear sunscreen. If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it. The long term
benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists, whereas the rest of my advice has no basis or
