I just found out that one of my Drill Seargents was Killed in Action (KIA) back in December. I remember him vividly and to hear of his death is a shock to me. He taught me everything about being a soldier and the artillery. While I haven't spoken to him in a few years, another piece of me is gone. One more brother taken, a great man and mentor.
