will ur brother adopt me? i could use a new lap top... on a serious note... i got a nephew who has every major video game player made and complains that his games are weeks old... can u say spoiled? A while he get's good grades what worries me most is that he never earns a thing, it's given to him because his mom thinks that he should get them because she didn't get the things she wanted growning up... so now every other day he asks for the latest crap and sulks if he can't have it...
haha. *I* could use a new laptop! i totally agree to what you said. my nephew*** is spoiled. he asked me if i could buy him a NIntendo DS. and i said 'how much?' and he said '$200' and i almost fell off my seat. then he said 'it's okay. you can just give me $100. i'll trade my Gameboy Advance for $100 instead.'
because apparently, no one plays Gameboy advance anymore. yep, latest games and toys.
he showed me the brochure for Nintendo DS. it's like a Gameboy Advance except with the digital pen and has built in wireless application so you can play with other peeps. now *I* want one of them too. :P but i'm not gonna buy one.

i will be using that technique with my girls next week!
and i think it's so cool that you're taking time out of your schedule to tutor your cousin. in a time where folks think someone else's kid's failures aren't their own, you are the giving soul who has taken a kid's troubles and made them your own. i hope he gets into the school.

thank you. :) yes, i could be out on a date with some cute guy but nooo, i'm at home tutoring my cousin. :P i think the decisions we make when we become adults are very much influenced by critical moments/memories in our childhood. the same way you feel about karrie, i feel equally blessed to have the opportunity to influence his life. :)
