omg. England won the Ashes.

My grandma and I took the four-hour train ride to Muswellbrook this weekend to visit my mom. Muswellbrook is a country town located at the heart of Hunter Valley, the wine region of New South Wales (much like Napa Valley in the US). Jeff and Crystelle , my friends from London, are arriving in Sydney next month. They're thinking of settling here which I think is an excellent idea for their babies, Mia and Dylan. It should be easy to turn their half-French, half-Canadian kids to true blue Aussies in a few years' time!

I learnt how to write my full name in Arabic today. My new friend also taught me how to write the letters of the English alphabet in Arabic. Did you know that there's no equivalent to the letter "P"? My auntie, Tita Auring, passed away a year ago today. My relatives in the Philippines are having a little gathering to commemorate her death anniversary right this very minute.
