hehe. i do love it when my chinese friends will talk to their parents in fluent chinese punctuated by english words pronounced with an aussie accent like 'bloody hell' and 'car park' etc
I can almost understand it because there are lots of similarities between your dialect and Bisaya. Taclobanan actually sounds like a cross between Bisaya and Ilonggo, both of which I can understand.
taclobanon is just another strain of bisaya isn't it? i never really thought about it but isn't bisaya the general term for waray-waray, cebuano, samarnon, ilonggo, etc. i could be wrong. but yeah, they're all sort of similar.
