Randomly surfing LJ and came across someone who wrote about her father's death. She said that her father's last words to her mother before he passed away was "I love you more." After nearly a decade of suffering from his illness, he still had enough love in his heart to say this. To me, coming across this post is one of LJ's finest moments

Reminds me of a teacher who died at the Colorado school shootout years ago (the teen-age duo, remember?). He decided to block the two young criminals at the library to buy time for the other students. Before the final confrontation, the teacher turned to one of the lucky escapees and told him, "Please tell my family I love them very much."
