Thinking of borrowing a book called 'Stephen King on Writing' from the local library. I decided to read the Foreword and was pleasantly surprised to read that King has dedicated the book to Amy Tan. Both of them are (were?) members of a band called The Rock Bottom Remainders. King on the ryhthm guitar and Tan as one of the 'dixie chick' singers.
