Continuing the art theme ... when at the Victorian Tapestry Workshop Anita and I also saw pictures of an amazing tapestry that the Workshop completed in 2008.  It now resides in the Queensland Art Gallery - I'd love to see it one day :)  By the way, it's 3 metres tall!

In case anyone’s interested, I thought I’d post a summary of Numerological Personal Years, so you can work out which year you are in.

The method is very easy - for example, say your birthday is today: 21 September. You would add 2 + 1 + 0 + 9 + 2 + 0 + 0 + 9. This adds up to 23, and 2 + 3 = 5. So from this year’s birthday, you are in a Personal Year ( Read more... )

Here's the kit I'm working on at the moment ... it's actually purple & red, even though it looks blue in the picture!

I haven't posted a picture of the other skully needlepoint I was doing before, cos I ran out of one of the colours and have to order it from the Victorian Tapestry Workshop ... it's very nearly finished though.
