Stolen from a couple of people:

If you were asked to pick one scene, one shot, one detail, one moment of some kind out of all the things I've written and say "This, this, for whatever reason, I remember, this is something that struck home with me, that I wanted to keep," what would it be?

One specific thing that always sticks out to me about your fics is how you are able to flawlessly translate characters from tv to story. It's like reading [very dirty] scenes that were cut straight from the show. I know that whenever I see your name show up on my f-list with a new story, I will be guaranteed a wonderful story.

[I know that's not exactly a specific moment....but I can't choose just one. This sort of encapsulates it all.]

Feeling adored though she's often feared herself unlovable.

(Related: I really want Liz to find someone who loves her. She deserves that.)

It is not so much one scene/detail that sticks with me, but the overall tone of your writing. I originally thought of it bittersweet but I think the better word is realistic; every story is rooted with real emotions of (as much as fictional characters can be) real people. Which is super impressive to me because your 30 Rock and Community fics come from worlds that sometimes play fast and hard with reality as we know. As much as I want so much for these characters to live in a fluffy world where everyone gets exactly what they want and lives happy ever after, your stories don't take the path of least resistance. They get to experience every color of the feeling rainbow and the future is a mystery to them as well. Happiness now doesn't mean they'll be happy forever and pain now doesn't mean they won't find joy later. Plus, you still write them with their humor and show personalities in tact. Oh, and your porn makes me knees weak.

I almost went anon for this comment because I'm a dirty lurker but I figured I might as well put my username to it!

Anyway. I was just thinking about a line from this old fic of yours the other day: "There was love, once." I'm not even sure why it's stuck around in my memory bank for this long. It's just one of those lines I'll never forget.
