I never commented about how this made me sad. But in a good way! And I really like this (now mostly alternate) universe. But Jack should get a clue.

Thanks! I do agree, he should get a clue. I tend to write him as completely self-centered since the love triangle plot. But at least I stopped wanting to punish him, the other holdover from that terrible time in the show's history.

I seem to have the exact opposite problem. In everything I've tried to write lately, I try to overcompensate for TV-JAck's douchebagness by writing him as way too perfect. Argh. Season 2 Jack, I miss you.

On another note, since I can't seem to write in-character fix, I'm dying for something new from you! (and I hope you're feeling better!)

Don't we all miss season two Jack? I do find myself wanting to write more old!school!fic so I can have an excuse to not take into account his d-baggery in the end of season four.

I'm feeling somewhat better but not a hundred percent. I have written a short fic for the porn battle, and hopefully I'll be able to finish one of the longer fics I'm working on soonish. :)
