baseball districts, summer before 8th grade. the sun was BRIGHT, and you were stuck out in center field. and 3 fly balls had already gone over your head (which didnt happen often bc you were awesome), one hitting the fence...i was on shortstop so i could hear the people in the crowd for our team saying how todd was stupid putting "that kid" in center, and how it was a weak spot...and the opposing crowd saying, "hit it anywhere in center, bc that kid wont be able to get it" blah blah blah.

matt was pitchin like shit, and all the sudden this kid rips a ball to right center, and it was more toward right field, i think it was drew out there and he wasnt gettin it lol. and you made this full extention diving catch...i'll always remember that bc of how people were so down on you, but you just put it out of your head, and had a short memory and shut them all up by rebounding with an awesome play. i admired that so much dude.

i remember freshman year in espanol. during the skit and i said cheese, and we went to your house to practice for it...haha that was a fuuuuuun time.
