Not sure if this is meets expectations... was trying to keep it around 1000 words and it went in a different direction than even I expected. But yah, that's become the usual for me.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, I'm still not really sure how I feel about it myself.

The CSI tonight was good. "It's always the utility man." My mom was in the room when it ended and I was like "ohhh Nicky" she gave me the oddest look.

I agree, that CSI ep was awesome. When Greg said that line, I immediately thought of Nigel Crane, too. I was forever saying, "oooh, Nicky" as well, especially with all those scenes involving his case and Kelly Gordon. Damn, he's gonna need some serious love after all that went down. Poor baby.

Nick chaing Greg and Greg finally catching him. Beautiful and sweet. It is so nice to read some of your stuff again.
Thank you so very much for something good to read while eating breakfast and hoping that the roads have been cleared of all the snow that fell last night.

I'm so happy you enjoyed it! It was sort of grinding to write at first and I was frustrating myself, but it's so rewarding to have actually finished at least one before my self-imposed deadline.
And I have a question for you, Detective Vartan.. do you know his first name? I didn't see it anywhere I looked recently. It would be helpful to know it.. I can't imagine Nick or Greg calling him Vartan all the time.
Thanks, Anne!

I have searched and searched lately, because I have a bunny that won't stop pestering me about him and Grissom.
If CBS has done the usual it should be Alex.
Just like Hodges and Archie has kept their first names.
But maybe it's so dorky that he utterly refuses to use it. Alex Carter has a monster of a Greek family name for real.
But all places that I have looked has him as Det. Vartann.
Men in makeup is quite luring.
