Good stuff. Do you like any of The Blasters' material? Check out the album Trouble Bound (if you haven't already).

I'll check it out. The Blasters are one of those bands, sort of like the Faces and Black Crowes, that I like in theory but have never found an album/track that just blows me away. Hopefully Trouble Bound will correct that.

Something off Will the Wolf Survive by Los Lobos would fit. I Got Loaded, maybe, or Don't Worry Baby.

And there is a GREAT song by Billy Joe Shaver that I've been waiting to hear a rockin' country band (or country-ish rock band) cover...Fast Train to Georgia. Find a version that has the late, lamented Eddy Shaver (BJ's son, dead of an OD) on lead guitar. It rocks, it twangs, it amuses...it does it all.

I'll investigate Fast Train to Georgia. Is Billy Joe Shaver the guy that wrote songs for Waylon Jennings?
