Why do you wanna fall in love with someone who has no direction, works at a record store (probably part-time), tries really hard to seem inspired and totally unique, and looks like a 12-year-old boy?

Then again, replace record store with grocery store, and I could ask myself the same question.

why can't i just be happy?

i want my old life back.  at least my old job.

i seriously wanna cry every minute of the day.  i dont know where i am or where i'm going or where i'll end up.  when will the economy get better? six months? a year? two? never?

I hate this.  Hate it.  I don't know what to do. 

I hate my new job.
I don't know what to do.  I feel like if I go whining to the staffing agency they're just gonna tell me tough shit...which I guess I can't blame them for.
I'm so unhappy.

I'd rather be unemployed.

Every time I hear that song, I fantasize about moments in my life that have never existed.

...but I suppose that's the whole point of a fantasy...

I'm not ready for this.
But then again, normal people are never ready to have their heart ripped out and chewed up and regurgitated, are they?

The only good thing about it all is that sweet release.  All of my love, painfully coming out in tears and sighs and screams and whimpers.  Eventually, it'll be gone.

Tomorrow marks four months and a day since I got laid off, and tomorrow is when I start my new job.  Holy shit!  Finally!  After four months of constant struggle and guilt and fear and uncertainty, I might be getting back on solid ground again.
