The rain is so wonderful.  I could sit here and listen to a thunderstorm all day and just relax.  I'm all about the relaxing.  Thanks to the wonderful invention of oil, my record player no longer sqeeks and I can play that beautiful vinyl once again.  I heart it, I heart it a lot.

VBS is almost done!  We have only tonight left and I'm done with it.  Leading music has been interesting.  Lots of cheesey songs, lots of singing.  I'm surprised my voice hasn't gone out yet.

Went to go see Shrek 2 today. The first one never really made me laugh that much. I guess that's what happens when everyone see's a good movie and talks it up like it's the best thing since George Lucas, but then your hopes are shattered because it's nothing like it was talked up to be. I have lost a lot of respect for some people. Why do they have to be so concerned about their own selves? They seem to be concerned with the next time they are going to drink, or who drinks with them, or smoking, or giving stuff to minors... IT'S STUPID AND IMMATURE! More and more I find things out that I wish weren't true... grow up people.

The days continue and I'm starting to make better use of my time. Reading books is always good. 1984 is amazing and I just need to sit down and finish the thing. I was supposed to have a blanket crocheted for mom by Mother's Day, but I still need to put in about 4 hours time to that. Man, it seems as though there is not much of anything to do in the metropolis of Brooksville, KY.  I wake up, go to the church and do some things, and then head back to the trailer and sit around playing video games and listen to a few records.  It sounds like it wouldn't be that bad, but it gets monotonous.  I was to play some racquetball, dang it ( Read more... )
