for those who don't live here, it is.

i took some pictures of the fallen trees in our yard, ( here they are )

weathered the hurricane. power, cable, everything is back. i'm really really really surprised at how quickly they got everything back up and running.

two trees fell in our yard, one missing the house by probably less than a foot. we're in the process of cleaning them up.

new orleans is pretty much underwater. freakin sucks.

lots of wind.
lots of rain.
a tree just fell in our driveway, and we would be without a vehicle if it weren't for mom and ben's work trucks parked across the fence.

if the power doesn't go ut i'll update whenever anything significant happens.

this post was going to be about today, but i started typing and got all disorientated. maybe after some sleep.

the only really important thing i wanted to include is that i could really go for some apple pie right now.

p.s. no school monday, freakin right. that means two three-day weekends in a row.
