If both statements in the subject line are true, then there are a lot of people trying their best to make everything awful. What's the remedy for that?

One thing I dislike about Bluesky is the number of scolds. I realize that I'm a hypocrite, because I scolded women into shutting up at a show last year. Nevertheless, I generally think that scolding

Commenting before finishing reading your entry to say that I also cannot deal with the scolding tone on Bluesky, I also read a lot of liberal classism into those posts and it makes me want to scream: "You are part of the problem too!"

I also have issues with the love is all you need stuff, but I do believe that basic acts of kindness (even at the bare minimum)and being mindful of choosing kindness in certain situations is part of strengthening resistance against the shit the people in this country are facing. Then again, I also think anger is a strength and feel that people who support oppressive and harmful ideas deserve angry reactions.

Ok...back to reading your entry. I just want to thank you for having a similar impression of Blue Sky.
