I keep buying books. I should stop. I need to get back to the library.
I've noticed that seeking and buying books has been a soothing process for me since the pandemic started.
Most of this time I've been unable to focus on reading, but it's been getting better lately. -

Yeah, Cabin Fever.
I have repeatedly told my nephew not to put one or two items in the washing machine on the FULL LOAD setting because it is an irresponsible waste of water and costs my father money. He continues to do so. This morning I found a damp dish towel and a pair of his socks in the machine, load setting at FULL. This has been going on for years. He ( Read more... ) -

Every once in a while I still find myself getting angry about things ex-boyfriends said to me a long time ago. Shitty things. The shitty things men say to women to bring them down. I think there are worse things to like than ranch dressing. I don't use it much, I feel like I grew out of it but it was a big part of what I ate while growing up. Maybe that says something about my family, where I grew up, and what social class I belonged to growing up - but so fucking what?
