Yay, for Lorrie Moore. I was reading her "You're Ugly, Too" on the bus, just an hour ago. Followed you here from pittsburgh and the exchange about Panther Hollow.
Hi! Glad to add you, I've enjoyed your Pittsburgh posts and I think we have a few mutual LJ friends.
Unfortunately, I use a lot of filters now - bloggy paranoia - so, it might not seem like I post frequently enough. I try to read my friend feed page every day, though!
Cool. I'll add you back. Regarding paranoia, if you see frequent references to a certain "N" in my posts, I'm not fantasizing about taking you to karate classes and Kasansky's; instead, I'm talking about my 13 year-old son.
Yes, Lorrie Moore. I taught her "Willing" to my English Comp class a few weeks ago and it went over quite nicely. I'm a big fan.
One of these days, I'm going to walk around Warhol's childhood neighborhood in Oakland, find his family's second house (the first one is long gone) and take some pictures. Something about the poem reminds me of him, growing up in a smoggy Pittsburgh, leaving for a truly big city.
Thought we'd add you to our friend's list if that's okay, via reading your response to dabroots about Australians....and the fact that you post poetry related items.

All I'm saying is, by adding me...you shouldn't expect much. I used to write here a lot and now I just update every once in a while.

I post in a lot of filtered entries, though.
But, I'm interested in reading your entries.
