My to-do list keeps getting longer, not shorter. ARGH! 8 days until I leave for CT...

Bad pony - Vaquero bucked with the trainer and dumped her. She's doing ok though and plans to be back on him next week (after a little more work on STANDING at the mounting block). "Sat on his back today (leaning over his neck, not sitting straight up in the saddle yet)!!! He is still very skittish, but after several tries, (leg over, weight, etc), he cooperated very well! Stood still to let me off. Next step, the walk. He is standing very well at the mounting block."

Vaquero got his furry butt loaded on a trailer and sent to the trainer on the 11th! He was a brat to get ON the trailer, but offloaded and went into his stall beautifully ( Read more... )
