...there is loads of snow today.....its sooooo prettiful...!!!!
i really wanna build a snowman, and Kevin is willing too, but alas i have to work and then go to Philly to a science thing tonight... oh well, at least there will be nice food!

I had food poisoning all weekend.... yuck!

I woke up to a blanket of snow outside my window this morning...it makes me soooo excited!!! Coming from Castletownbere i never get to see this much snow. Me and Kevin have plans to build a snowman this week...i can't do it today as Dallas and his wife are taking me to dinner...how sweet!

I checked my emails on Christmas eve and it looked like the americans were trying to get in touch for a few days. My letter of approval for visa application came through and they were confused by my address, it having no zip code an' all! So finally some progress on the visa. My next step is an interview with the embassy but its all formalities now ( Read more... )

fours days left of being a postdoc at UCC... i haven't got anythimg finished, haven't even begun to think about clearing my office space...yikes so much to bloody do..

..tonight though, i have a date with Mick...my 'moviestar' boyfriend ...yay!...

i have one week to go before i leave ucc....however Alan, knowing that i have as yet no visa for the us, has offered to keep me on after i come back from the UAE.. it was sweet and friendly offer, one i am very tempted to take.
