I thought it might be cathartic or at least personally gratifying to try to distill my thinking about life into a few basic ideas and preserve them here for posterity.

1. Knowledge typically leads to more uncertainty. For this reason, the more you know, the more sleepless nights you may have. This is just life and still better than ignorance.

It's the weekend. I can't even explain how happy that makes me. This week was miserable. Last night I got tires put on my car because I noticed the back two looked low on my way to work the other day. As it turned out, the air pressure was 12 psi- which is not good for a tire rated for 40 and best at 32. I put air in them, but they were back ( Read more... )
