Wow, you are doing it well! This was intense but it's ringing so true! The fact that Kurt couldn't stop saying what he felt is just natural. I hope Mary Ellen is getting better, but I know that when people are depressed is very hard for them to be active, and it is even harder for their relatives to bear the situation.

Thank you! I was hoping Kurt wouldn't come off as a total jerk. Sometimes I can't translate the idea in my head to the paper, you know? So I'm glad you thought it seemed natural. :)

Depression is so hard to figure out. I feel for that family, all the kids just wanting their mom back, Roy wanting his wife back. It's heartbreaking.

I thought your description of Junior and Kurt's first kiss was fantastic!

Thanks! I was a little worried about Junior and Kurt's kiss...it's been so long since I've written a het romance, heh heh. I kept accidentally writing "he" and "he" instead of "he" and "she."

This is really great chapter. I wasn't surprised when Julie Ann told Jack that a lot of people in town has them figured out for a long time, heh heh. And since there is more to come for 'this day', I can't wait to read more. Thank you for sharing it.

I loved Julie Ann - she was a real hoot. “So you do know about it?” Jack shuffled his feet, wishing Julie Ann didn’t have such a direct gaze.

“Jack. I’ve known forever.”

“What?” His head snapped up.

“Back when I first started coming to you? You guys couldn’t keep your hands off each other. Word in town is you still can’t.”

Hee hee.

And I don't Kurt came off as a jerk at all. Merely a scared, angry and frustrated young man.

Mary Ellen has *got* to get some help.

I didn't expect a chapter of this fic today - what a nice surprise!

Thanks! There'll be more of Julie Ann to come. :) And yes, Mary Ellen needs some help...hopefully now that Kurt was brave enough to speak up Roy will realize that.
