Fred Phelps and members of his hate-filled congregation will be on campus on Saturday to protest the production of The Laramie Project. They will outside the Michigan League from 7:15 until 8:00, protesting the performance with their hateful sayings and signs

not to mention, if you didn't read, he's protesting the afternoon show on sunday.. after he spends the morning protesting churches.

Wow, I don't even know what I would do if those fuckers came to my campus.

I think they thrive on negative reactions, so the best thing would probably be to just walk by them and roll your eyes, as though they're insignificant. Because really, they are. A bunch of hicks from Kansas who have nothing better to do than piss other people off and think they're actually accomplishing anything significant.

he does thrive on negative actions... in fact, he is funded solely by the money he makes from the lawsuits against those that he pisses off enough to take physical action against him.

we debated about what to do... the best would have been to give him no attention at all. but we decided that to do nothing (because taht would hurt him the most) would look like we were doing nothing (because we didn't care) to anyone that saw him, you know?

plus, OFU isn't the only one who is there... we found out there are people from all over coming. if you're bored on saturday... hah.
