Blackstar pays little mind to which direction he's pointed when he lifts away from the ocean's surface above the Decepticon base. He just wants to fly, and direction doesn't matter to him any more. Whatever sensors or radars or satellites these humans have, none of them would be able to pick him up now anyway, except for possibly as a blurry image ( Read more... )

Halfway through her conversation with Wingblade, Steadfast receives a comm transmission from Echoshift.

//Hey Steady, it's Shifter. Starscream's just left the base and headed back to Autobot City, and I'm on my way to the control center. How goes things at your end?//

Duskwing still wanders along behind 'Mama', listening and watching. A thought occurs to him, which is a pretty rare thing, so he pays close attention to it. To do all the changes she's talking about, Mama will have to be here a while. So, where is she staying?

Echoshift wouldn't put the two of them in his room, would he?

Shifter knows I'm in C-135. He's not going to put someone else in there.
Yeah, but they always try to put someone in my room! It's like, 'Duskwing has to have a roommate, it's in the regs somewhere'.
He's not going to put both of them in there, and they'll want a room together.

The lights flicker slightly as Duskwing flits off, looking for Echoshift.
