Okay, that's a lot to try to comment on, but good luck with all of it. And I want to comment that, although I don't have gray AFAIK, my hair is so much prettier and softer since I stopped dying it. I tested out highlights and low lights for the wedding, so I will do that again, but other than that, it's been a LONG time since I dyed it. So maybe the healthy look and feel of it will overcome any misgivings about grays. :)
This is exactly what I am hoping for, but graying hair can still be pretty traumatic. (especially if you have naturally dark hair like mine) But, I do know that I like my hair without the straw feel after applying hair dye.
Good luck! If it is any consolation, I've been wearing jeans to work for the last 15 years, and in the past 4 months I've been in a suit and tie more times than I have for the other 38 years of my life.
I know, and I'm sooooo comfie in my jeans and t-shirts. It's just so disconcerting. *grumble, grumble* I just don't like so much change at once. I'm sure I'll learn to deal with it.

You know that 40s/50s style with the pencil skirts and the simple blouses and opaque hose? You could ROCK that. Especially if you were willing to wear lipstick. :)

Yeah, the whole lipstick thing might take a while. But I have seen this lipstain (one of those all day and doesn't wear off kinda things) that has me a bit curious) So, I might consider that. Hmmm, pencil skirt and such...I really might consider that. If I do, I'll really have to take a picture cuz no one would believe it. :-O
So glad to hear about the job situation for both of you! As far as the shopping thing goes - yeah, I'm right there with you. I'm 5ft 2in and about 125lbs, so it's hard for me to find anything in the "adult" section that fits right or is flattering. My legs are long for my height, but I have a very short waist, so it's hard to find pants especially.
Hey, but at least you have a great job as an excuse to have to shop! :)

Totally feel you on the shopping thing. I keep wanting to offer you advice, but if I were gonna be honest, I'd admit I got nothing.
