I would look into the credits thing. At my college 15 is the minimum for full-time. I know that every college is different though.
I know how you feel about people not thinking well about language majors. I'm a Japanese major myself, and a good number of my friends are language majors too. I think as long as you try hard you can always find something. All majors are having a hard time with the economy these days.
My brother is attending the same college I did and I even checked online and everything and it says 12, though 15 is the average people take. I was gonna call them to double check but I didn't have time to do it today due to all of this stress...
Yeah, stupid economy. My parents don't seem to realize that it's not just me or language majors who are having problems. =_=
Yeah! Ganbarou! ^^ Thank you! I really appreciate you actually reading all of that haha
What are you studying in graduate school? Japanese? UGH I hate when people say that like none of your business? Sorry I'm not gonna be a doctor earning lots of money?
UGH like stop judging me!!!!! I'd rather do something I enjoy than doing a well-paying job i hate for the rest of my life. Just out of curiosity, PURE CURIOSITY I PROMISE, what do you plan to do after grad school? :D
This reminds me and my mom arguing about my grad thesis being delayed 3 times already. Like it's my fault my adviser had gone to a one week seminar and then the head of the graduate program for some reason had gone to Singapore for one week.
Argh parents.
Ooh I play otome games too. But since I can't afford Voltage games, I play the ones from Gree and NTT Solmare since they're free.
Ugh ever since I graduated from undergrad a few months ago they have this assumption I'm supposed to have my lifelong career already and moved out. Maybe it was like that 40 years ago but nowadays.....not so much. especially since tuition costed so much so loans are gonna be a pain. so everytime we get into arguments my mom is always like "technically you should be paying for rent so consider yourself lucky you live here for free" like wtf!?
I do Gree and NTT solmare too! XD I limit myself to 1-2 guys max for voltage. But I like the free ones too! XD
I worked for a student loan company in 2010 and I realized how expensive college in the US is. This may explain why some Filipinos who live in the US go here to study. It's cheaper.
I'm limited to the free ones and the story's interesting but made me think what a wimp the heroine is especially a particular otome game called Naughty Marriage Contract. The ones in NTT and Gree are at least feisty (one route has her slap the guy on the face after he kisses her).
