This is so perfect. You've got Jade's and Pearl's and Mark's voices down, just totally nailed them. But the melancholy aspects of knowing her parents will never understand, and she can't make them, and moving out wasn't just gaining independence, it was losing some stuff, too... it's so well written, with a gossamer touch, and yet has the weight of reality that DH itself also had. Completely captures the spirit of the film and these characters; made me want to watch it again for the umpteenth time. Amazingly good.
