i wrote this today.. its pretty much about everything ive been feeling.. about peoples actions that bring others down whether they know it or not.. its something God has relaly been communicating to me. what do i do that brings other people down? and what excuses do i make to justify myself in maintaining those actions? its basically addressed to ( Read more... )

i think your poem was awesome. I write poetry myself and you asked if I'd be willing to share about my faith in detail, so I thought I should share this poem I wrote. It basically sums up my feelings, even though nothing I could say would ever be enough...

Me & God
When I’m afraid I think of God
And he calms me

When I’m alone I think of God
And he comforts me

When I’m angry I think of God
And he soothes me

When I’m upset I think of God
And he relaxes me

When I’m impatient I think of God
And he waits for me

When I’m cold I think of God
And he warms me

When I’m hot I think of God
And he cools me

When I’m confused I think of God
And he teaches me

When I’m forgotten I think of God
And he remembers me

When I’m questioning I think of God
And he answers me

When I’m hateful I think of God
And he loves me

When I’m sinful I think of God
And he forgives me

Whenever I think of God
He is there and ready for me

so yeah, something just told me to share this with you...

alas, i have neither...every time i try to get an AIM account, it says there's an error when i submit the info... my cousin may be able to fix it though... once i get it sorted out, i'll let you know...

that is an awesome writing man. I totally know how you feel. I feel the same way or similar right now.
