this is just a random thought... why cant people be real? i mean you talk to someone for a long time then you realize that there is part of them you thought you knew about that is just kinda not the way they made themselves be percieved... i understand people make mistakes.. but dont mask it.. be real

For myself it's an issue of what people would think. I mean most of the time I can be real but if it's someone that I either do not know that well or I can't "read" them, then I hold off somethings as to ease them in slowly. I guess it's also a matter of trusting yourself and having confidence that your true self is the best. I dunno, just a thought.

you know what? i actually got bothered about people being so unreal around me; not that Christians don't make mistakes or they don't feel as well, they do, and it's disconcerting to see them behaving like the world is perfect, forcing themselves to be happy. i know the joy of the Lord is our strength, but it's okay to sulk for a bit, okay to feel bleak, as long as they know that Jesus will still make it through in their circumstances. you were right, dont mask it, be real cos Jesus showed his feelings too. He showed it when He had sorrow.
