ok, i know it's late, but i'm finally getting around to writing my journal entry about my trip home. all in all, it was really great. on the day i arrived my parents and i went to a wing buffet, which was fabulous and marked the beginning of my binge eating. the next day i went to renew my drivers license which expired over a year ago, had lunch

What I had meant to say from *this* journal was that it looks like you had a great time with tons of the eating and visiting that you had missed out on for a while. Best of luck with the moving and job seeking. Should be an interesting change for you after so long in Matsusaka!! How is your Japanese at this point????
