Aside from the first trimester pregnancy symptoms (nausea, vomiting and exhaustion) continuing to drag me down and socially isolate me (I'm 14 weeks and no sign of it letting up yet), things are in such a good place for us right now. Another new major milestone in my life has come about-- we're engaged!! At 32, I no longer have to refer to my longterm partner of 5 and 3/4 years, Kyle, with the seemingly 'high school' term of my 'boyfriend'. He is now my fiance!! Today was the first decent day I've had since my birthday weekend. First trimester nausea, vomiting and exhaustion have made me absolutely miserable and unable to enjoy very much since then. Just back from camping up-island... We started out all stressed because I had to work until 3:30 Saturday afternoon leaving Kyle to do most of the shopping and the packing (therefore out of my control), but we joined the crew at the RV resort and settled in for a great weekend. Work is quite busy right now with covering for other people and extra shifts at the ESH for holiday coverage.
