Pectoralis Majorette

I go to the gym everyday. Wait. I go to the gym everyday so I can get girls. Girls want guys who have big pectoral muscles, or "pecs." The problem is that my pecs are smaller than a hummingbird's pecs. Birds actually have very big pecs, compared to their body size, but not when compared to my body size. You'll never get big using the machines, use them as ancillaries after the real exercises. Use free weights and train for strength, stick to the basic mass/strength building exercises: bench press for chest, squats and deadlifts for overall mass increases and close-grip bench presses for triceps. Of course add other exercises, but always include those mentioned. After your warm-up sets mostly keep the rep range from 3 to 1 reps, and go 25% lighter every third week. Keep the rest in between sets to 3 to 5 min. with the longer rest periods used in the taxing exercises i.e., squats and deadlifts. Heavy weights and lower volume are the way to go for 1 to 3 years, then you can switch to a bodybuilding regiment if you so choose after you have adequate strength and mass. Make sure your protein intake is 1g/kg of lean body mass, and supplement with protein powder if need be.
