This morning, we went to the downtown lounge, and I found out that Dayton and I would be working doubles with the classmate who has the little Australian shepherd. We both began to laugh, because we knew what was in store for us. As shepherd folks know, these guys like to go go go, and they usually want to be in the lead. I went to sleep even more tired than I realized. I went to bed knowing that we would be woken up at 6:00 this morning. I knew I wanted to get up ten minutes early so I would feel semi-human by 6:00, but somehow, I calculated that that meant I should get up at 6:20, so...well, that plan didn't go over swimmingly. I woke up unfairly early this morning...2:00 AM central, to be exact. I didn't need to leave the house until 5:00, so I spent the time trying to go back to sleep, giving up on falling asleep again and packing up a few last-minute things.
