so, I'm realizing the pitfalls of liking music that no one else likes...no one's willing to come with me to concerts! not that i go to concerts all the time...my last concert was madonna in 2006....but it's just frustrating when no one else sees the music the way that i do. no one sees the beauty or relives the memories in the way that i do

I was intrigued the whole entry, and then I read the last line and laughed a lot. I think the statement "it's about the journey, not the destination" applies here. And we did eventually get to the movie theater. Technically, not a bad day, all things considered.

and thanks for at least taking the time to read my post. it's not like i'm trying to convert the world to hanson's music or anything. it's just that, in middle school and high school, i saw a lot of people get teased really badly for liking hanson, so i learned to keep my mouth shut that i liked them too. and now i'm just getting to the point where i'm sick of being ashamed of something that makes me happy. and part of me feels like, if people gave hanson a 2nd chance, maybe they would find they actually liked them. or maybe not. i really don't give a crap if no one else likes hanson but me, but just don't tease me for it. don't shove the fact that you don't like them in my face and down my throat.
