your family may hurt you, but at the end of the day, no matter what, they will ALWAYS love you, and they will always try their best to cushion the hurt or make up for what they've done to you. i'm not sure i can say the same about friends. no one understands you the way your family does. the way your sister or brother does. -

not liking my new boss very well
i need to rant about my new boss. i just got a job 3 weeks ago working on a local farm. the people who run it have a bunch of dogs and cats that they've rescued off the street, and they're getting older, so they need help around the farm. they have 11 dogs, 12 cats, 2 horses, and 1 goat. the work is fine - i don't mind it...pretty basic stuff - ( Read more... ) -

i just finished reading the book 'the shack' by william p. young. i thought it was excellent. not the best i've read in terms of literary quality...but it made me think about a LOT of things in my life. like the question of why bad things happen to good people. although the author is christian, i believe, it's a good book for both religious and non ( Read more... ) -
