so tonight was our first rehearsal for the pops orchestra, and boy was it fun! i was a little scared that i wouldn't know many people at first, but everyone welcomed me with open arms :)  when i first showed up, i was the only percussionist there...and everyone was so glad because last year they apparently had to hire percussionists to play at ( Read more... )

i'm starting in tecumseh pops orchestra tomorrow night, and i'm so excited. when i ended campus band last semester because i was graduating from msu, i got depressed because i knew how much i was going to miss playing percussion. i thought to myself at our last concert, "this is the last time i will play percussion for years."
