Recently, this girl with whom I was really good friends in elementary school and haven't seen since searched me on myspace, and so now after all this time we're friends again. Just got back from Quiz Bowl nats, finished 11th out of 128. We went 6-1 in the first seven rounds of the prelims, and then 0-3 to make the playoffs. In the playoffs, we beat the first seed in the fourth round, the small school champions in the fifth, and then lost in the finals of the playoff for tenth place (a 6-way tie ( Read more... )
