My skin is burnt to a crisp. I had an excellent day at the ocean today. I temporarily collected seashells and examined a dead horseshoe crab. Those things weigh a lot more than I expected.

I'm still peeling from last Saturday. It turns out, the sun is a lot hotter and closer in Arizona than it is in any other state I've been in, including eastern Washington and the Florida Keys.
