Walking down the street towards my flat, I heard this strange wailing noise, like a child moaning, long and low, repeatedly. I could hear it despite my headphones. I took an earbud out and immediately other harsh, screaming voices filled the street. I could not tell where the sounds were coming from. People were poking their heads out of

It was shocking. This is a tiny town of 23k people. I don't expect that sort of violence.

I don't know how to react to it either.
