"The Wizarding World is fighting for equality, democracy, and genocide."

Um, Wizarding World? Don't you think you should be fighting against genocide rather than for it?

Just sayin'.

Halloween is a big holiday for me. Basically, October is Halloween Month for me.

I've always loved three things: 1). Telling stories (ghost stories, especially), 2.) Being scared, and 3.) Dressing up. You see, it's only logical that Halloween would call to me like the full moon to a wolf.

The fifth floor of First National Center (where the magazine offices) is creepy.

The elevator has not stopped dropping by the time the doors open, so I stumble onto the fifth floor disoriented. This is what it feels like after your fourth or fifth shot of the night, when the floor gets all wily and refuses to stay still so you can walk across it. ( Read more... )

This week on EcoGeek, Hank Green blogs about DRM and how much it sucks.

It sucks because when you buy DRM music, you don't really own it. It's really more like renting music.

Now, come to find out, DRM also sucks because it's bad for the environment. Hank says so; it must be true.

Which begs the question: iTunes, why do you hate Mother Earth?

The other day, I walked into the Downtown Underground, where I am usually annoyed by the noise pollution created by several flat-screen TVs competing with the piped in music. On this day, however, I found the music and TVs to be in strange accord.
