[If it were possible for a skeleton to stand any more rigidly, now would be the time where one would see it. Brook catches the hat gingerly - the blood is fresh and stains his fingertips, contrasting red against bone white.

There is a part of Brook that forgets here that he should be taking anything that he sees with a grain of salt. Luffy's hat is to the captain as Brook's afro is to himself, he knows. Even if this isn't real, it should not be here.
