All right. Sounds like a good idea. [Because lord knows it's been a long three days. She'll yawn again, rocking back on her feet before she rights herself.]

[...it almost looks like that large, blue webbed hand reached out from the gloom by the doorway to steady her, settling down on Nami's shoulder in a proprietary sort of fashion. And there's someone grinning a very, very sharp-toothed grin just behind her.]

[A moment later, Merry walks up into view again, peering down at him behind the hood. And for the first time, he talks to him.

Don't worry, I'll take care of it. A small hand reaches down, then gently tugs at the straw hat in his grasp. ...This too.

Brook sits up, almost wanting to take it back, afraid to ask but-] He's not... is he?

[It's at this point that voices spill out of Nami's open journal besides him - in particular, one from an entry that Brook had filtered to her and the rest of the crew just an hour before.

Luffy. He feels so relieved that he could cry. He laughs instead.] Yohohoho! How foolish of me to have even doubted it, neh? But what a relief; what a relief.

[Brook closes Nami's journal and walks over to the chair where his own journal sits, along with his bag. He picks them up, setting his nakama's journal down in it's place and heads for the door.

When he opens it and turns around to wave goodbye to Merry, the little figure is hard at work fixing the wall. The hat is nowhere in sight.]
