[In light of certain questionable polls she was made privy to, Nami feels that a balance needs to be righted. Honestly? She doesn't much care about the answers. She just wants to have fun. |D]

Oh, yes! Admittedly, I haven't been able to remember if I know many more than that, but they all have such wonderful qualities. Archie-san has wonderful hair, and a very handsome way of smiling-ah, and Ginko-san, there's something calming about his appearance. Not to mention he's a mature sort of attractive that is rare among so many of the younger people here...

Ah, I wish I knew that man's name... I'm not sure if I've forgotten it or not... A blond-haired man, and something about airplanes...

[Yes, Luceti, Sayo secretly hounds all over your guys. She's only in her late twenties so cut her some slack. 8)]

[Have a gay man chiming in on your conversation!]

Ah, miss, by the blonde-man and the airplanes, I believe you mean Mr. David Jordan.

I... consider him attractive myself. Though he is with the venerable Doctor Faye-Ling.

David Jordon! What an interesting name...! Not at all what I'm used to.

Though I've never met Doctor Faye-Ling, but I imagine she's a lucky girl! He was very well spoken, and patient with me when he had to explain things... I find nonphysical traits like those very handsome, myself.

Doctor Faye-Ling is a wonderful woman. I believe that Mr. Jordan and her are very well-matched, from what I have seen so far.

I must say, miss, you have a very charming opinion of what makes a man attractive. [It's a lot like his own, actually. So much of what makes someone desirable isn't necessarily physical, to Robert.]

[She laughs softly.]

Oh, thank you. I've just never been the kind to depend on just good looks... though, I'm often surprised by how many people in Luceti are so handsome or beautiful...

[Robert's voice is definitely an agreeing tone.] Ah, yes, indeed. Much of what makes people attractive is their personality, what they enjoy, what they aspire to...

But I will agree. Most of the people I have seen so far are at least aesthetically appealing. [Robert doesn't know if he himself would fit into that category, though. Probably not unless you find nerdy skinny scientist boys hot.]

Mmm. We'll have to see who stays appealing, won't we? I hear that if someone has an ugly personality, they'll start looking less and less attractive! Do you think it's true?

Objectively, I would think a person would look much the same - but perhaps, when one knows what sort of personality an individual has, all the physical flaws become magnified to one's perspective.

In any case, it would hardly matter how attractive a person was if one could hardly stand to be near said person... which is why all of these non-physical traits are more important in the end.

Ah, that's very true...

You seem to know quite a lot of things; I'm impressed!

Thank you, miss. I would hope to be educated, as my job requires much in the way of knowledge.

Ah, but we've spoken for quite some time, and I have yet to exchange any formalities. My name is Professor Robert Alexander Hastings. What is yours, miss?

At home I work as an astrobiologist - a person who studies life on other planets. It is quite an engaging field - though, to my understanding, many worlds here have not yet had the pleasure of discovering life outside their own planets.

Life on other... planets...?

[Antique brain-break.]

That's definitely true! I had no idea there were other planets!

[She learned from Ginko that the sun is a star... and then totally forgot it all over again.]

[The fact that somebody doesn't know that there are other planets is actually stunning to Robert.]

Well. That is the first time that I have spoken to somebody who did not know this. [There's a strange mix of fascination and... almost sadness in Robert's voice, like he pities Sayo.]

Are you simply from a time that is that far behind?

W-well, I'm not sure!! I've heard people tell me I look old-fashioned, I suppose!

Hmm... Well. It is probably safe to conclude that you are, considering this knowledge.

Which makes you quite... unique, at least among the residents here. [Although Robert hasn't spoken to too many...]
