So here I am with a humongous dressing, big ol' splint and bulky wrap on my arm, all supported by a sling. 6 weeks of this damn thing? Yeeks. At least the surgery went OK!

I guess this is a good thing - I have my arm scheduled to be fixed this Thursday, the 21st. Just in time for Christmas!

I hate surgery.

I had some doubts about making it this far, but here I am. Huh. How about that.

I didn't pull the bicep tendon partially away from the bone - I tore it COMPLETELY OFF. It needs reconstruction. And that's the least of my problems right now ( Read more... )

So I go in for the MRI today. 45 minutes in a long tube. It was supposed to be - claustrophobia rears its' head and I freak. Not only that, but the alarm doesn't work. Now I'm in a panic. Christ, a half hour later and I;m still shaking.

And I have to do it over. This time sedated. I'm sitting here literally crying and shaking. Damn damn

So far I am looking at three possible surgeries. This Friday will tell me if I need the elbow fixed. Maybe I'll have a kidney removed. And who the hell knows what may happen with the whole blood thing.

Nope - stuck my head out from under the covers and the world is still there. Damn.
