Well, here we are in the winter doldrums! We did get to run the car a few times at the end of last season. Had to install a new rear end as the old nine inch got hurt and it was so old there were no rebuild parts available so went with a later model. That thing is massive! Haven't posted in a long time as is evident! Been fighting the good fight and now have the mod finished except for the carb and a couple of small things and getting the lettering done. Should have the carb this coming weekend and it will be ready to fire and break in the cam. Maybe break is not a good word!

Finally got the headers built! Car is coming along slowly but it is coming along!

Weather is a little warmer so have been working on the mod again. Got one side of the headers done. Other side will be a lot easier. Will know how to do it by the time I get done. Won't need the knowledge after that tho! This is the last major engineering project so now it's just a matter of putting it back together.

Posted a few pics in the Cars I have Known and Loved gallery. Will get more as I have time. It's fun going thru the albums. Been really cold for the last 3-4 weeks with daytime highs around where nitetime los generally are this time of year.

The car is coming together slowly but surely. Have posted more pics in the gallery. Most of the major work is done. Still need to do the headers which won't be hard but will be tedious! Have to extend the tubes so header will fit outside the frame rails under the nerf bars.

Added a couple of pics to the 318 gallery. Got the engine half bolted in need to build a tranny mount that will fit the rear crossmember that was originally set up for a manual trans. shouldn't be a big problem. Been awhile but not much to update. Finally got the tranny back so can install that and the engine and get started on the sheetmetal. Car is coming along nicely.

Okay, had a good time on the vacation. Missed working on the modified so was glad to get back home. Got the heads and am now checking all the clearences prior to installing same. Added a couple of pics.

Okay, next entry! Have been working on the car but haven't uploaded any new pics. Leave on a trip in the morning so won't get any done till I return.
