I finally saw Punisher: War Zone last night. Ray Stevenson as the Punisher was pretty damn impressive, enough for me to forget about Tom Jane's run at the character. The thing I liked the most about Knight is that he didn't do what he usually does in movies, which is play Wayne Knight. He played the role completely straight and did a great job, although I wasn't fond of what happened to him at the end. I'm actually glad they didn't go with the techno angle, though.
I doubt you'll see another Punisher flick for a while. This one didn't do too well and neither did the Tom Jane version, so they may be done with the Punisher for another ten years or so. I think an HBO or Showtime series would go over a lot better.

Punisher on HBO...get Garth Ennis scripting...use his Punisher MAX run as a guide...wow, that would be amazing!
