Well I've been enjoying my new computer quite a bit but I have yet to really get some new games for it. I have Windows installed using Bootcamp so I can run those programs but even then I have yet had the urge to really play any of them yet. I've been keeping myself busy with Heroes of Might and Magic V and Age of Empires III.

Went paintballing again on Friday, though it was a rather lack-luster outing. There weren't a great number of people there, though more had arrived shortly after mine. Went and saw the Transformers movie this afternoon. As a big Transformers fan, who's grown up with the series, this movie was a definite walk down nostalgia lane. I really liked how Bay's team redesigned the Transformers, giving them a much more realistic feel to them rather than the cartoonish, blocky appearances in the shows and comics. An interesting cover of the original Transformers theme from the 1980's movie. This isn't, however, the official theme song for the 2007 movie. The removal of the eighty's synthesizer music is a nice change but unfortunately the singers flattened affect of a singing voice betrays the feel of the video footage

One exam down, four to go. First one went fairly well so hopefully that's a sign of things to come.
