So... Its the day after Valentines, and things are finally back to normal. The depressed people are back to being depressed instead of "overly" depressed, and valentines chocolates are half off at all major retail stores. "Caribbean Queen" -- another good one.
nin's "hurt" -- OMG, most depressing song ever written, and Johnny Cash's version was totally depressing too. Damn, I miss Trent Reznor.
Oh yeah -- and the "Call Me Al" song by Paul Simon -- the first time I'd heard that song, I was like 6 or 7, and I saw the video with Chevy Chase and I thought freakin' Chevy Chase was actually the one who sang it!
Yeah, I'll have to come up with some mix lists of my own. Not to toot my own horn or anything, but back in the day (along the lines of 1997-1998), I used to make some killer mix tapes and people dug them. The key is to have a nice flow from one song to the other. So the order of the songs on said mix tape is extremely important. I should write a book: "Mix Tapes For Dummies." Basically the book would be one page long with just that one piece of advice. In that case, it would be more like a pamphlet.
