just got back from the hospital- great signs- the liquid draining is now clear and he was moving a good amount- he has a really good grasp, and we read him short stories, waved the smell of fried chicken his way, and promised him plenty of mind altering substances when he wakes up. not coincidentally, he moves most when there is a woman holding each hand. didn't respond to me and john the same way. he must know what's goin on..
